Agrippa: Construction of an Architect

“Agrippa: Construction of an Architect” geometrically abstracts an image of Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa’s bust.

The first piece explores the historical significance of Agrippa, a Roman general, statesman, and architect. The image of the Pantheon interior on his right cheek highlights his commissioning of this iconic monument.

The second piece reverses the values within intersections of basic geometric shapes.

The third piece experiments with shading by using geometric shapes as shading patterns within Agrippa’s image.
